Senior Level Engineer 

Core Responsibilities

• Structural Modeling & Drafting: Generate comprehensive construction documents and 3D models using industry-standard software like AutoCAD and Revit.

• Window & Aperture Integration: Execute precise placement of hosted components (windows, doors, and curtain walls) within Revit, managing sill heights, orientations, and schedule tagging.

• Model Cleanup & Optimization: Review and refine complex plans to ensure project files are organized, lean, and compliant with firm standards.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve modeling errors or geometric conflicts within Maya, SolidWorks, or Revit to maintain project timelines.

• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with architects and project managers to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic intent are balanced.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Technical Training: One-on-one desk-side coaching to teach junior engineers efficient Revit workflows and drafting shortcuts.

• Standards Advocacy: Enforce the firm’s CAD/BIM standards, ensuring that junior staff understand the "why" behind specific documentation protocols.

• Quality Assurance: Review the work of junior drafters, providing constructive feedback to improve their technical proficiency and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Mastery of Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling environments.

• Software Versatility: Familiarity with high-fidelity engines (such as Unreal or Unity) or advanced modeling tools (Maya) for visualization purposes is a plus.

• Educational Background: Degree in Design, 3D Modeling, or a related Engineering field.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a "servant-leadership" mindset when guiding less experienced team members.

Junior Engineer

Structural Modeling & Drafting

• Develop detailed 3D structural models and 2D construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Execute precise placement of hosted architectural and structural components, such as windows, doors, and specialized framing, ensuring all openings are correctly reinforced.

• Utilize advanced BIM workflows to manage Revit families, parameters, and schedules.

2. Engineering Integration

• Collaborate with project leads to translate structural calculations into constructible Revit models.

• Manage complex geometry and coordination between various building systems (MEP, Architectural, and Structural).

• Conduct regular model audits to ensure structural designs comply with building codes and firm standards.

3. Junior Engineer Mentorship & Training

• Direct Instruction: Lead training sessions for junior engineers on Revit best practices, specifically focusing on structural modeling and documentation.

• Workflow Optimization: Develop and document standardized drafting procedures to help junior staff work more efficiently and accurately.

• Peer Review: Review the work of junior drafters, providing technical corrections and coaching on structural detailing.

Revit Autocad Drafter

Qualifications & Skills

• Software Proficiency: Mastery of Revit (Structural) and AutoCAD is mandatory.

• 3D Modeling Expertise: Advanced background in 3D modeling environments; experience with Modeling & Simulation or Revit for complex structural visualization is highly valued.

• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of structural components, building codes, and the documentation requirements for new construction.

• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to junior staff and a passion for fostering a collaborative learning environment
